Simply toast a couple of english muffins. (Butter them if you like.) Add a slice of American cheese (or whatever cheese you are craving currently) to the bottom piece and let it melt a little bit. Heat up the real sausage patties in a small frying pan. At the same time microwave the soy patties (I personally like Morning Star Farms variety). Spray a separate pan with oil and then fry one egg. Fold it in half and then cut it in half to form to a small triangle. Place one triangle on top of the cheese of each muffin. Top these with the sausage patties. Add the other piece of english muffin to create a marvelous little breakfast sandwich. Good to grab and go or sit and sip with coffee.
menu idea:
Serve these sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches with a bit of fruit and some spicy southwestern style hashbrowns, and of course coffee!
(In case you are wondering, the soy sandwich has the strawberries on the plate and the real sausage has the grapes. Look a lot alike, huh?)
