Here I layered juicy green grapes (because the universe of green things my carnivore will eat is so small I use them when I can), crispy chunks of cantaloupe, and tangy slices of strawberries. These fruits alone pack in great nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium, among other things! I then topped this off with a fresh fruit sorbet and a sprig of mint (totally optional). This night I choose passion fruit sorbet, which was delicious. However, mango and other tropical fruits work well too. I recommend Whole Foods 365 brands. They come in small pints for a reasonable price. Plus they have tempting flavors like Meyer Lemon and Tangerine - yum!
Whatever combination of fruits or flavor of sorbet, you pick will not be disappointed. Plus, it is a fairly low calorie dessert that is not only a feast for the eyes, but will make both vegetarians and carnivores satisfied on a warm spring evening.
